Mombasa Golf Club’s Immediate past Chairman Paul Munyao paired with his wife Caroline Munyao in producing an excellent team pair to emerge victorious in this year’s Boys Hinderers cup golf tournament played at the Sea-Link par 71 course in Mombasa County on Saturday.

“The Boys Hinderer Cup is a tournament played by couples against couples. I was privileged to play with my wife Caroline and we are lucky that our ‘A’ game emerged today. We are delighted with the win which we managed against very strong competition. Our approach was about having fun, enjoying the chemistry and trusting each other’s golf shots and decisions. Besides, we had an amazing Four Ball playing with us who also played very well. In fact, today is our proudest moment after both of us played our best game. We have been working on our game sufficiently and put as much effort into reaching this goal. We also worked as hard as we could on our mental game and learnt to believe in ourselves and that’s how we managed to clinch this prize, “said Munyao who is also the Club’s immediate past Chairman.
