The event that runs from Friday 23rd, to Sunday 25th, May, promises fierce competition as players vie for the prestigious titles in this annual showcase of Golfing excellence.
Leading the charge is defending the champion and the current top-ranked Amateur in the Country, John Lejirma where his participation adds an extra layer of excitement, with many expecting him to defend his title successfully.
Notable competitors such as Elvis Muigua and Naomi Wafula are also anticipated to cause upsets, adding to the tournament’s competitive allure.
The captain of Njoro Country Club Micah Thuo has confirmed that the course is in pristine condition,providing an ideal setting for this esteemed event and warmly welcomes all players and spectators, emphasizing the Club’s readiness to host a memorable competition.
The tournament will be played in a match play format, following an 18-hole stroke play qualifier and only the top 16 players from the qualifier will advance to the knockout stages, where strategies and nerves will be put to the test in pursuit of the coveted trophies.
