Speaking after their victory, an ecstatic Kinyanjui said, “Our four-ball plays morning golf on Mondays, Wednesdays and sometimes Saturdays. When choosing the team, we were looking for long-hitters, good-iron players, and great-putter Wallace Mwaura. What we will continue doing is what we do best – playing together, looking at our strengths and working on our weaknesses.”
“With KCB’s regional reach, it would be amazing to host the grand finale in Rwanda, Uganda or Tanzania – something different because we have seen all the courses in Kenya. Kenya has grown tremendously in the last five years in terms of golf and we would like to see the same growth exhibited in other countries,” added Kinyanjui.

Handicap 18 golfer Mutahi Muriithi carded an excellent 45 stable ford points to be crowned the overall winner beating Geoffrey Githinji who plays off handicap 21 who returned 41 points to be named the men’s winner.
