GOLF NEWS-Proud moment for Parents as Junior players concludes Nyali Junior 2025 series in style at Nyali course.

-The over 70 Boys and Girls from 8 to 18 years old displayed their skills and talents to walk home with various prize awards.


-Junior Convener Kailesh Chauhan noted that the event is designed to promote Junior Golf and create a platform for young Golfers to excel, with participants from various Golf Clubs across the Coast region.


-Club Captain Omar Lewa noted that it has been another fantastic Golfing year for the Juniors and appreciated all the team for great job.

Over 70 Juniors both Boys and Girls aged 8 to 18 years unleashed their skills and talents in style to conclude the Nyali Golf and Country Club 2025 Junior Series Finals Golf tournament at the Club Course in Mombasa County on Sunday.
Club Convener Kailesh Chauhan organized this year’s 7 series played though out the year with the 8th final conclusion at the Club in Mombasa.
The young players from Coast Golf Clubs including the home Club, Diani’s Diamond Leisure Resort, Vipingo Baobab Ridge, and Malindi Country Club, all caddied by their Parents.

After being caddied by their Parents were all rewarded with sterling prizes after completing 9 or 18 holes according to their various age group categories.
The most improved series Boys for 8-10 years’ winner on 17.17 % was Niall Chauhan with 848 points while Promise Ajello won the Boys 10-12 years having improved by 15.46% for a total of 1077 points.
Keith Ajello grabbed the Boys under 8-10 years’ title having improved by 11.31% for a total of 1038 points while the Boys for Under 8 years’ category was won by Emmanuel Klee on 8.06% for 920 points and Aryan Joseph was topped for Boys 14-18 years after collecting 7.58% for a total of 812 points.
In the most improved Girls side, Krishika Patel took the under 8 years’ title having collected 3.32% for 1,050 points and Dhanika Patel was happy with the Girls 8-11 years’ side on 918 points having 3.03%.
Reynah Agnes with 964 points was the winner in the Girls 11-15 years’ group on 7.32% and the Girls Under 8 years’ title went to Maria Zawadi who had 9.92 % with 916 points.
The tournament 8th leg series final winners were awarded with various glittering medal prizes in the evet jointly supported by the Golf Sponsor TransEast Professional Hauliers, Silver Sponsor was Contech and The Automan, Bronze sponsor was taken care by Green Tech Solutions Limited Dazzle Jewelleries and Dala Dala, Media Sponsor was 24.7, Friends of the Juniors and the Junior Golf Series.
The Junior Convener Kailesh Chauhan noted that Club Junior Series has been running for several years, with the 2025 edition being a notable one.
“This year, the series had 7 legs, culminating with the 8th one in the grand finale at the Club. The event is designed to promote Junior Golf and create a platform for young Golfers to excel, with participants from various Golf Clubs across the Coast region. The year has been exciting with great participation of the Childen.Thank you to Nyali Golf and Country Club, Parents, all our sponsors and Friends of the Juniors. Without your support we would not have a great series like this. Happy holidays and praying for another year of happy Golfing for the kids in 2026,” said Chauhan.
The Club’s Junior Coach Mary Kandu praised Chauhan and Parents for their support to the children noting that It was a year of great achievement for all the Juniors.
“Indeed we are humbled as a team. It has been fun enough till they can’t get enough and they are already asking when is the next tournament. That’s how you know we made an impact on the Juniors. Happy holidays to everyone. Much Appreciated, “said Kandu.
Club Captain Omar Lewa noted that it has been another fantastic Golfing year for the Juniors and appreciated all the team for great job.
