Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Asset Management, a subsidiary of KCB Group PLC has injected KShs. 1 million into the much-anticipated Kasuku Cup Golf Tournament slated for Saturday,31st, August 2024 at the lush par 72 Royal Nairobi Golf Club in Nairobi Kenya.
Regarded as one of the most prestigious Golf events, the fourth edition of the Kasuku Cup will bring together Professional Golfers, Men and Lady Golfers from around the Country as well as Junior Golfers who will compete at the event.
Speaking ahead of the tourney in Nairobi, Head and Principal Officer KCB Asset Management Victor Odende said, “At KCB, we see Sports as more than just a game, it’s a force that strengthens the social fabric, offering enthusiasts a chance to sharpen their skills while enjoying themselves. Our partnership with Royal Nairobi Club in this amazing tournament is geared towards fostering a Golfing culture and nurturing the next generation of Golfers.”
Over 200 golfers are expected to headline the tournament that was launched three years ago to celebrate Elisha Kasuku who is a veteran Professional Golfer in Kenya.
This year’s event is aimed at supporting the less fortunate Caddies in the community and also grow the Junior Golf Foundation (JGF) which Elisha Kasuku was part of the founders.

Elisha Kasuku is a Veteran Professional Golfer who started his Sports career with Athletics in 1975 where he represented Kenya in the World Walk Championship and other subsequent Athletic competitions Worldwide and in 1976, he ran in the Marathon in 2hrs 19mins.
He was also the founder of JGF in 1987, Professional Golfers of Kenya in 1991 and He has also served in various Organizations as a Chairman, Committee member among other positions.
Kasuku has served as a team Manager and a Coach where various teams represented the Country like the Toyota Junior World Cup, Japan in 2008, Africa Junior Championship, South Africa and Kenya Junior Team, Swaziland.
