Prudential Life Kenya has announced a Ksh. 10 Million sponsorships for the 5KM Family Run at this year’s Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon.
Scheduled for 26th October 2025, the Stanchart Marathon is Kenya’s largest single-day sporting event which brings together professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and families from across the country.

The 2025 sponsorship marks the third consecutive year that the insurer is supporting the family race that underscores its commitment to health, protection, and building more resilient communities.

The 5 KM run goes beyond being a race, it allows parents, children and loved ones to run side by side, making it a true celebration of family and community. Futuremakers is a global program that focuses on empowering the youth with skills and opportunities for a better future.
To date, the initiative has empowered 90,679 girls with life skills through sports and has also supported over 54,000 youth with employability and entrepreneurship opportunities and created 1,380 jobs through supported businesses.
