GOLF NEWS-Home Club’s Kisia takes home advantage to triumph in the second leg of safari Tour Season Six Tourney at Vetlab;

Professional Golfer Mike Kisia took home advantage to triumph in the second leg of Safari Tour Season Six golf tournament which ended at Vet Lab Sports Club course on Wednesday.
The Kenyan Professional golfer rounded up the four days event with a total of 292 gross from 75gross in the first day, 70 in the second day, 75gross again the third day and finally added 72gross in the final day to place him on top of the leaderboard.

The coveted first place position also earned Kisia’s well-deserved prize of 150,000 Kenyan Shillings.
“I am honored to have emerged as the winner of this Safari Tour’s second leg. The competition was fierce, and I appreciate the opportunity to showcase my skills. Thanks to the organizers and fellow players for making this event memorable, “said Kisia.
The event supported by Betika attracted 50 players from Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Malawi and the host Kenya.
Long hitting Dismas Indiza from Mumias Golf Club and Samuel Njoroge from Railway Golf Club tied for the runners up slot on 295 gross each and both walked away with Ksh.90, 000 each.

Kenya Golf Union (KGU) Chairman Philip Ochola extended his appreciation to all participant and thanked each player for their exceptional performance and sportsmanship throughout the event.
“Your dedication contributes to the success of these events, and I look forward to seeing more remarkable displays in the upcoming tournaments, “said Ochola.
Ochola confirmed that there are four more events scheduled for the following year, promising continued excitement for golf enthusiasts and also announced that the top eight players from the series will have the prestigious opportunity to participate in the 2024 Magical Kenya Open.
Prize was shared to 21 players among them Zimbabwe’s Liberty Gumisa who got ksh.29,800,Tanzanias Nuru Mollel earned Ksh.26,500,Abraham Ainamani got Ksh.24,000 with the last one being Kenya’s Sullivan Muthugia who went home with Ksh.11,000.
