The three-day 54-hole stroke play Championship has drawn the Amateurs from across the Country where all the golfers will play in the first two rounds after which the top 33 and ties will make the cut to the final round to be played on Sunday.
NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora said, “Once again we are happy to see yet another leg of the Kenya Amateur Golf Series take place this weekend. This is the 22nd KAGC event that we are sponsoring this year and we take immense pride in being part of these events that bring together the best amateur golfers from across the region. NCBA’s interest in Golf Development in the region is unmatched. We are in a space now where we are demystifying the sport and ensuring as many talented youths earn a living from playing golf through our sponsorship. We look forward to exciting play and good scores in Diani.”

The Diani event follows the NCBA Nandi Bears Open Shield held at the Nandi Bears Golf Club at the beginning of the month where home player Elly Barno clinched his first Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) title.
