GOLF NEWS-The Prestigious ICEA LION King of the Golf Series Continues its Journey in Nanyuki;

ICEA LION is thrilled to announce the upcoming 4th leg of the 8th Edition of the King of the Course Golf Series set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mt. Kenya, at the Nanyuki Sports Club on Saturday 9th, March 2024.
The event tees off from 6.30am with the ball flight of W. Koome, S. Mbaya and S. Mose while the last group will be the four ball flight of B.Wanjohi and three staffs from ICEA LION teeing off at 13.58pm.

ICEA Lion golf Series Captain Joe Mboya,D. Mwangangi, B. Mwangi, J. and S. Munguti will be staring off the course at 11.02am and at 12.22Pm will see the team of the ICEA Lion Chief Executive Officer Philip Lopokoiyit,Club Captain Anthony Rukwaro, Dr. Muthiora and J. Muguongo and no post entries will be allowed.
This event follows the resounding success of earlier legs in Machakos, Thika Greens, and Ruiru, marking a significant milestone in the 2024 series.

The Nanyuki edition promises an unparalleled golfing experience, featuring over 140 participants from across Kenya.
The Nanyuki Sports Club boasts of a course in pristine condition, with state of the art facilities, exceptional cuisine, and a warm reception, all under the picturesque gaze of Mt.Kenya.

Club Golf Captain Anthony Rukwaro assures a competitive yet welcoming atmosphere for all attendees expected to enjoy a wonderful golfing around the the Mt.Kenya atmosphere.
Captain of ICEA LION King of the Course golf series Joe Mboya while highlighting the series commitment to promoting golfing talent, said “the Grand Winner of the 2023 series will be participating in the prestigious 2024 Lekoa Classic in South Africa, showcasing the global opportunities afforded
to competitors.”
He said the event will also feature junior golfers, emphasizing the inclusivity and developmental goals of the series.
ICEA LION Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Philip Lopokoiyit shares his enthusiasm for the series as a key pillar of the company’s customer engagement and brand enhancement strategies.

The event in Nanyuki is set to be a thrilling chapter in the series, and will progress to Eldoret and Nandi Bears on 24th, and 25th, May 2024 leading up to the grand finale in Nyali on 26th, of October 2024.
Nanyuki Sports Club course is situated at the foothills of Mt. Kenya and is one of the Oldest Golf Clubs in East Africa established in 1921.
It is also known for the quality of its golf course, its sports facilities, great food, and the warm welcome that every guest receives.
