ICEA LION King of the course 2026 series is set to host players at the Thika Greens Golf Resort Golf course on Friday,6th, February in Muranga County and Ruiru Sports Club course on Saturday, 7th, February in Kiambu County.
It will be an 18 holes stable ford tournament at Thika Greens course in the series 2026 second leg in this year’s ICEA LION King of the Course 2026 Golf Series calendar after the first one held at Machakos Golf Club on January,3rd.
The tournament has attracted a large number of over 200 players comprising Chief Executive Officers (CEO’s) and other Senior Executives from across the Country who will battle for sterling prizes at the expansive 1,700-acre course.
Thika Greens Golf Captain Henry Kinyua expressed his enthusiasm for hosting this 10th edition of the tournament at the par-73 championship course, highlighting its growth since its inception in 2014 into a premier destination offering excellent hospitality, leisure, and business facilities.
“It’s all systems go, we are excited and completely ready to have our guests. The course is also playing well and in pristine condition. And everything has been done to ensure an enjoyable day both in and off the course, “said Kinyua.
The Ruiru tournament on the next day Saturday, will be the third leg of the ongoing series with the same numbers of the players where its traditionally oversubscribed and remains one of the most anticipated fixtures on the circuit.
The players will also be seeking to gain qualification slots into the prestigious Road to ‘Vaal’ journey in competing with other African qualifiers at the Vaal de Grace Golf Estate, located on an island in the Vaal River near Parys, Free State, South Africa, about 75 minutes from Johannesburg.
Ruiru Sports Club Golf Captain Justus Mathenge reaffirmed the club’s commitment to the series, stating that thy are looking forward to playing host to this tournament where every year has been special and presents an opportunity for growth.
ICEA LION Series Tournament Captain, Joe Mboya said they are excited for both tournaments and expects the players to enjoy and play well.
“The Grand winner of the 2025 series Julius Kioko of Machakos Golf Club is scheduled to participate in the 2026 Lekoa Classic on 20th, and 21st, March 2026 at Heron Banks, Emfuleni and River Golf Estates in South Africa, “said Mboya.

Following the Ruiru leg, the series will proceed to Nyeri and Nanyuki Sport Clubs on 6th and 7th, March 2026 before taking a short break and then head North to Kericho Sports Club on march 7th.
It then culminates in a curtain- raising event ahead of the corporate tournament at Nandi Bears Club on 29th, and 30th, May 2026 and the last leg will finally be staged at Nyali Golf and Country Club course in Mombasa County 24th, October after traversing in other Clubs around the Country.
