The highly anticipated Dura Coat Golf Masters Series 2026 heads to the Coast with Nyali Golf & Country Club’s leg in Mombasa County on Saturday.
This is one of the biggest legs of the ongoing 13 nationwide series that has taken Kenya’s amateur golf by storm and will feature some 200 players drawn from the home Club, Seafront Mombasa Golf Club, Malindi, Diani’s Diamond Leisure, Vipingo Baobab, upcountry Clubs, guests and staffs with valid handicap.
Set to tee off from 7:00am at the par-71 course from both tee off boxes for the Coast premier qualifying round to the grand finale slated for November 28 th, 2026 at Mount Kipipiri Golf & Resort course in Nyandarua County, the players will also be battling for exciting prizes to be won, including Dura Coat products and various trophies.

Our greens team has worked round the clock, fairways are lush and the greens are running perfect. This series have brought a new energy to amateur golf in Kenya and for us as Nyali, this is more than a tournament. It is about showcasing Coast hospitality. We invite golfers from across the Coast and Kenya to come and experience Nyali at its best. Remember, one putt can make you a champion or drop you to tenth. We have also tightened the pin positions to make it a true Masters test. The prizes are huge, the competition will be tough, but the spirit will be friendly,” said Sangoro.

“As Lady Captain, I am very proud that Nyali is hosting this Masters. We have over 60 lady golfers already confirmed, which is a big number. This series is very inclusive. It gives us ladies a platform to compete, qualify and dream of playing in the grand finale. My expectation is to see our Nyali ladies on the podium. We have been training, our handicaps have been improving and we want to show that Nyali is the only home of lady golfers at the Coast,” said Zaituni.

The format for the Nyali leg will be Stable ford full handicap for men and ladies with the top three players in each category plus the overall gross winner, will automatically qualify for the grand finale.
The Nyali leg follows, after been played at Vet Lab Sports Club, Sigona Golf Club, Muthaiga Golf Club, Karen Golf and Country Club, Nakuru Golf Club, Nanyuki Sports Club, Eldoret Club, Kericho Golf Club, and Nyanza Sports Club with next stops to Kericho, Nakuru, Nandi Bears and Kakamega before the grand finale.
With 13 golf clubs nationwide, over 2,500 golfers are expected to participate across the series, making it one of the largest corporate-sponsored amateur circuits in Kenya this year.
