-Action now moves to Mombasa Golf Club in Mombasa County 7th, June 2026 for the fifth round where another exciting day of junior golf is expected.

Coast junior golfers recorded impressive scores in various age categories to shine during the round 4 of the KC Junior Golf Series 2026 played at the 18-hole, par-72 Vipingo Baobab Golf Resort Course in Kilifi County on Sunday.
This Africa’s only PGA-accredited championship course successfully hosted the tournament witnessed by large turnout of Parents, featuring more than 60 junior golfers, ranging in age from 6 to 18 years drawn from all the Coast Region’s Golf Clubs of hosts Vipingo, Nyali, Seafront Mombasa, Diamond Leisure and Malindi.
The tournament saw David Kaguru card 92 gross to emerge the leader of the Boys 14 to 18 years’ category while Alpha Wise claimed the runners up slot on 104 gross.
Nikki Pattni won the Girls 11 to 15 years’ side with 106 gross beating Kanika Patel behind by a 2 strokes difference.
Lucas Kampa brought 85 gross to win the Boys 12 to 14 years’ category and Rian Mwakana had 106 gross for the runners up slot while the Boys 10 to 12 years’ group’s top prize was claimed by Theuri Wamweru with a score of 95 gross as Craig Fassler carded 102 gross for the runners up spot.
Keith Ajello was the leader of the Boys 8 to 10 years’ section on a count back score of 51 gross after tying with runners up Niall Chauhan as Reina Rai claimed the 8 to 11 years Girls side after carding 53 gross, a single stroke ahead of runners up placed Avian Klee.

The Boys 8 years and under category side was won by Mohamed Hamid’s score of 49 gross while Benny Salzmaann was the runners up on 49 gross and the top prize in the same age group for the Girls was claimed on 58 gross by Maria Zawadi while Zuri Mwashoni emerged runners up with 70 gross.
The Series organizer Naeem Pasta extended their sincere appreciation to Vipingo Ridge for hosting the tournament and providing an outstanding championship venue for the young golfers while also emphasizing the importance of developing good golfing habits from a young age.
“We need to continue raising the standard of junior competition by ensuring players take greater responsibility for their scores, understand the importance of correctly marking scorecards and follow the Rules of Golf. Parents are encouraged to maintain an appropriate distance during competitions, as tournaments are not coaching sessions. It is always beneficial to start early and allow young golfers to develop the discipline, integrity and habits that will help them succeed throughout their golfing journey.”

Mombasa Golf Club in Mombasa County is expected to host the fifth round on 7th June 2026, where another exciting day of junior golf is expected.
The first round was played at Diani’s Diamond Leisure, followed by the second round at the Seafront Mombasa and the culmination will be at Nyali in Mombasa County later in the year.
