    -This was round 6 of the series where skills by the youngsters from across the Coast region competing in various age categories, showcased impressive talent, determination and sportsmanship.


    -Organizing Committee member Naeem Pasta expressed his satisfaction with the progress being made by the youngsters throughout the season.


    – Attention now turns to Round 7 of the Series, which will be hosted at the Vipingo Ridge Golf Resort in Kilifi County, where players will continue their pursuit of valuable series points as the race towards the season finale intensifies.

    The KC Junior Golf Series round 6 was successfully held at Diani’s par 72 Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort course, South Cost of Mombasa in Kwale County over the weekend, where juniors once again displayed their skills to produce brilliant results.
    They players proved dominance in their age group categories claiming top spots in the day long 18 and 9 holes’ tournament that attracted a wonderful turnout of the junior golfers and their families, further highlighting the growing popularity of the series along the Kenyan coast.
    Aryan Awe Joseph carded 88 gross to win the Boys 14 to 18 years old category beating Alpha Wise to the runners up slot by a 6 strokes difference while Nikki Patel emerged the Girls’ 11 to 15 years old side after producing 113 gross as Kanika Shah claimed the runners up spot on 116 gross.
    The skill by the youngsters from across the region competing in various age categories, showcasing impressive talent, determination and sportsmanship, saw Niall Chauhan remain the leader of the Boys 8-10 years old group on 51 gross, displacing Jamie Noonan to the runners up place on a 4 points difference.

    Other winners and runners’ ups were Promise Ajello-124 gross, Rian Makwana-131 gross (Boys 12-14), Samara Teneva-57 gross, Avian Klee-57 gross (Girls 8-11), Marcel Adeyemo-91 gross, Theuri Wamweru-99 gross (Boys 10-12), Maria Zawadi-64 gross, Rezwanna Nandwa-67 gross (Girls 8 & Under) and Benny Salzmaann-49 gross, Mohamed Hamid-51 (Boys 8 & Under).
    Organizing Committee member Naeem Pasta expressed his satisfaction with the progress being made by the youngsters throughout the season.
    “It is encouraging to see the juniors continuously improving their technique, understanding of the Rules of Golf, and most importantly their etiquette on the golf course. As organizers, we are not only running tournaments but helping build the future champions of our country. The growth we are witnessing in these juniors is a positive sign for the future of Kenyan golf,” said Pasta.
    He pointed out that the KC Junior Golf Series continues to provide a structured competitive environment where young golfers can develop their skills, learn the values of integrity and sportsmanship and gain valuable tournament experience.
