The machine will be awarded to any golfer who manages to make a hole-in-one at the designated par-3 eighth hole during the tournament.

The new incentive is made possible through a partnership between NCBA and construction and agricultural equipment dealer JCB Ganatra Plant and Equipment ltd, who will be offering the high-performance machines as hole-in-one prizes at the tournaments on the 2025 NCBA Golf Series calendar.

NCBA’s Group Director for Asset Finance and Business Solutions Lennox Mugambi said, “We’re incredibly excited to head to Kiambu Golf Club this weekend, and even more so with the added thrill of the hole-in-one challenge now in play. Golf has always been a game of precision, discipline, and composure and these are qualities we deeply value at NCBA. Partnering with JCB Ganatra Plant and Equipment ltd gives us a chance to bring those values to life in a unique and memorable way. The chance to win a state-of-the-art machine by hitting a hole-in-one brings some level of excitement to the series, and we’re confident it will elevate the experience for both seasoned golfers and newcomers.”

“At NCBA, we’re committed to enriching our customers’ lives through sport, business, and lifestyle. Managing Director at JCB Ganatra Plant and Equipment limited Altaf Ganatra said the collaboration is a perfect alignment of shared values between the two institutions,“We’re proud to be part of the NCBA Golf Series and even prouder to kick things off with the hole-in-one prize at the Kiambu leg. This machine is a symbol of strength, reliability, and progress—values we see reflected not just in NCBA, but also in the spirit of golf itself. These machines are designed to get the job done, no matter the terrain—just like a great golfer rises to every challenge on the course.”

“Our partnership with NCBA goes back many years, and we’re excited to see it evolve into something that connects with people in new, exciting ways. We look forward to celebrating the skill and ambition of golfers across the region, and who knows—maybe we’ll see a few aces this year.”

Known for their power, efficiency, and operator comfort, the JCB 3DX Backhoe loader machines are built to handle a wide range of heavy-duty tasks including digging, loading, and roading.
The addition of the hole-in-one prize adds an extra layer of thrill to what is already one of the region’s most dynamic amateur golf circuits.
