Tusker Sports Brand Manager Keza Mpyisi said Kabeberi provides another opportunity for the brand to bring fans together through rugby and entertainment.
“We have seen a very competitive start to this year’s National Sevens Circuit, with KCB taking Prinsloo and Kabras winning Dala Sevens. That tells you just how much competition there is across the teams, and we expect Kabeberi to be no different. As Tusker, we are pleased to continue supporting the circuit and bringing the Tusker Na Rugby experience to Nairobi. We want fans to enjoy the rugby, the atmosphere and the entertainment around the tournament while celebrating responsibly.”

Kabeberi Sevens promises to be another closely fought contest following an unpredictable start to the 2026 National Sevens Circuit.
KCB Rugby won the opening Prinsloo Sevens, beating Kabras Sugar 19 – 12 in the final in Nakuru, before Kabras bounced back in Kisumu, defeating Menengai Oilers 17 – 5 to claim the Dala Sevens title.
The results have seen two different winners emerge from the opening two legs, setting up an intriguing battle as the circuit heads to Nairobi.
KCB will have additional motivation at Kabeberi, having won the 2025 Kabeberi Sevens title after defeating Daystar Falcons in the final on September 7, 2025, at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi.
The reigning champions will be seeking to defend a title they have dominated in recent years, having won each of the past four editions since 2022 and they will also be chasing their second title of the 2026 circuit after their successful start at Prinsloo.
However, they face strong competition from Kabras Sugar, who come into Kabeberi as the reigning Dala Sevens champions, as well as Menengai Oilers, Strathmore Leos, Kenya Harlequin and Daystar Falcons.
Kabeberi Sevens will be the third leg of the six-round 2026 National Sevens Circuit, following Prinsloo and Dala Sevens.
The circuit will then move to Driftwood Sevens in Mombasa on 22nd, to 23rd, August, followed by Embu Sevens on 5th, to 6th, September, before concluding with Christie Sevens in Nairobi on 12th, to 13th, September.
