-Youngster Odoo beats Veteran Golfers in a Charity Event at Nyali;
-While Kioko and Abuja rules at Machakos and Thika Greens respectively;

At only thirteen years old, Hawii Odoo was able in displaying his skills to beat Veteran Golfers in a Charity Golf tournament played at the par 71 Nyali Golf and Country Club course in Mombasa County on Saturday.
The School boy playing off handicap 26 recorded an excellent score of 43 stable ford points to emerge the day’s overall winner beating a team of 150 golfers including seniors.

“Since last week I have been training under our Club Caddy William Odeck who made me win today and I thank him for that. Though I have been in School for the last three months and has not been playing Golf, today has been my day. I enjoyed the game with my fantastic four ball partners and looking forward for more wins before I get back to School,” said Odoo.
The event was organized by Local Community members of the Master Choa Kok Sui (MCKS) Charitable Foundation which is a grant-giving charity with a mission to provide caring compassionate support to those in need from the Society.

Hitendra Halai playing off handicap 18 was the Men winner on a count back score of 40 points after tying on the same points with handicap 21 Suresh Hiran who was the runners up and handicap 23 Rimal Shah claimed the third slot on 38 points.

The Lady’s title on a count back score of 39 points was won by handicap 30 Rose Njogu after tying on the same score with runners up placed handicap 24 Joyce Kamau and the Club’s former Lady Captain Annemarie De-Jong playing off handicap 30 was third on 38 points.
David Kaguru playing off handicap 44 was the junior winner on 38 points.
Club Captain Dinesh Sasan thanked the organizers for taking the event to the Club noting golfers turned up in large numbers to the worthy cause ripped from the tourney that will go towards assisting the needy in the society.
At Machakos Country Club also on the same day, handicap 12 Julius Kioko carded 69 nett to emerge the Division one winner in the 2023 November Babies golf tournament and handicap 14 Collins Nzioka was the runners up on 71 nett.
The Division two was won by handicap 16 Peter Kimatu with a count back score of 68 nett after tying on the same score with runners up placed handicap 25 Simon Kimatu.
Kennedy Ngugi playing off handicap 29 was the Division three winner on 68 nett and Ben Siro playing off handicap 30 carded 71 nett to claim the runners up slot.
The Lady winner on 72 nett was handicap 27 Florence Riungu and handicap 30 Linda Kikuvi brought 73 nett to walk away with the runners up prize.
The Guest winner was handicap 10 Bill Kalya with a score of 71 nett and he runners up on 74nett was handicap 52 Arnold Ogolla while Stephen Musyoka playing off handicap 15 won the Sponsor prize after returning a score of 71 nett.
And at Thika Green Golf Resort Club on the same day handicap 15 Sunday Abuja carded 44 points to emerge the overall winner of the Lady Captain’s Prize.
Anthony Muita playing off handicap 11 was the men winner on 37 points and handicap 27 Erastus Ngung’u on 36 points was the runners up.
The Lady’s prize was won on 38 points by handicap 18 Lucy Njuguna beating handicap 11 Jane Gikonyo to the runners up by five points difference.
The Subsidiary Men winner was handicap 33 Benson Njogo on 38 points and the same for the lady was claimed by handicap 39 Alice Dan who had a score of 37 points.
Boniface Kariuki was the best dressed man on the course while Hellen Kiburi was the lady winner of the same.
The Best dressed Lady off the Course was Alice Dan and Joseph Wambugu scooped the best Men smile.
