The Curtis-Olago led outfit is fresh from thumping Kenya Harlequin 45-0 in the tournament’s quarter-final encounter at the same venue and will be focused on replicating its heroics this weekend.
Olago is expected to name his squad for the clash this evening after the team’s final training session at the den as big names Darwin Mukidza, Griffin Musila, Bob Muhati tipped to retain their spots in the starting 15.
“My sentiments remain the same, we are still work in progress as we prepare for the 2023/2024 Kenya Cup season that kicks off next month. We want to keep integrating the new players joining into the squad as we embed the KCB culture. Oilers have often been a problem for us, it is going to be a tactical match and we expect a tough fixture,” said KCB RFC Coach Curtis Olago.

Captain Griffin Musila said: “It is refreshing to see the new young players coming in and getting minutes in the tank. They are hungry for glory and this mentality will enable us to take on all our opponents regardless of who they are. I call upon KCB rugby fans to turn up in large numbers and rally behind the team because we will not let them down.”
The bankers, who finished second behind Kabras Sugar last season will kick off its Kenya Cup campaign late next month as they hunt for another title.
