“Firstly, Golf is a wonderful game at Britam, we are happy to play our role in promoting it. This has also seen us sponsor several junior golf events outside of our normal series and we will continue to do this. It is a way of saying a big thank you to our clients across the country for their support – their patronage of our wide range of financial services. Whether it is the insurance of their assets, their medical needs, their businesses, staff benefits, education policies for their kids, planning for their pension, investment solutions – you name it, “said Gitogo.
Thirdly, Gitogo said it is also a way of meeting up with new friends, forging new networks and show-casing the professional services that they can expect from the Britam ecosystem.
The CEO said Britam is proudly Kenyan and will soon be celebrating 60 years of providing unmatched insurance, investment and financial solutions to our customers.
“We walk with our clients ‘every step of the way’ and live up to our clarion call of ‘Friends for Life’ Afterall, our purpose is Safeguarding Dreams and Aspirations! Having started our operations in Kenya in 1965, we have now grown to be listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange, and expanded our territory to 6 other neighboring countries (Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Rwanda, Malawi and Mozambique, “noted Gitogo.
He says every year Britam sponsors a Golf series that cuts across the Country, currently half way through the series which started at Thika, and went to Muthaiga, Nakuru, Vet Lab Sports Club, Nyahururu, Limuru and Ruiru Golf clubs.
“We are very happy to be in Nyali Golf & Country Club today and have really enjoyed the hospitality, the warmth of the members and the world-class facility, with a special mention to possibly the best changing rooms in the Country. This follows a glamorous dinner event that we hosted only two days ago (Thursday 25th July) here in Mombasa under our Biashara Network initiative that seeks to bring businesses/SMEs together to network, discuss common challenges and possible solutions, explore opportunities and share best practices. Britam cares about our partners success –not just their patronage! “Said Gitogo.
