-Kaguta remains the best gross player at Nyali as Makarani claims the top Men’s Title;
-This was during the KenGen Tournament that also saw Makena claims he Lady’ title and Maarifa wins the Individual Clubs Prize.

Home Club’s William Kaguta remains the best gross player after claiming the top title at the par 71 Nyali Golf and Country Club Course in Mombasa County over the weekend.
The handicap 2 Kaguta who has been the best gross winner more than two times this year did it again by carding a six over par 77 gross to emerge the day’s gross winner during the KenGen Golf tournament that attracted 191 players.
Shafiq Makarani playing off handicap 25 returned 46 points to emerge the Men winner while handicap 12 Joseph Oluoch was the runners up on a score of 41 points.

The Lady winner’s prize was scoped by handicap 30 Makena Mwige after the 18 holes stable ford event on a score of 38 points while handicap 24 Murtaza Saeed on 38 points and handicap 26 Shay Chauhan on 41 points were the Senior and Junior winners respectively.

Harshil Shah playing off handicap 37 was the high handicapper’s winner with the day’s best score of 43 points and Mesaidi Maarifa playing off handicap 27 carded 41 points to take home the Invited Coastal Clubs winner.

The KenGen staff winner on a count back score of 32 points was handicap 21 Roy Bwoma who tied on the same score with handicap 10 Reuben Langat who was the runners up.
Club Captain Dinesh Sasan thanked KenGen for choosing Nyali Golf and Country Club to host the event and promised that the Club was looking for their return next year in a much bigger way.
